I am endlessly fascinated by the creative process. Showing up with intention, stepping into the unknown, and creating something new.

This is where the magic lives. It’s in the creative process, not the result.

The Journey Here

Reverse engineering doesn’t work for me. I know. I spent a good chunk of my life chasing results - straight As, championships, promotions - all to win the acceptance and praise of those around me. I built an identity around high performance and discipline. It worked…until it didn’t. All of that striving left me depleted, confused, and scared of who I was underneath the facade of success. At 36 I left my corporate job, moved to Colorado, and found an amazing therapist. I began exploring the origins of this adaptive behavior and claiming my inherent worthiness. This was the beginning of my journey back to myself — a path I continue on each day.

Through this daily practice I began to see and feel my creative gifts. As I welcomed back outcasted parts of myself, my capacity to hold space for others expanded. As I tuned into my body, my ability to follow my creative impulses grew. As I claimed my own story, my curiosity about the stories around me deepened. As I practiced presence, my ability to see the beauty in what is magnified.

It is from this space that I have created Heart Space Studio, all in devotion to the creative process.
